The seizure was made at the Highway 57 check point.
The narcotic was found by officers as a result of a thorough inspection of the vehicle that was sent to a secondary inspection.
Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin Skero stated that the methamphetamine is worth approximately $33,000.
"This poison was seized due to the keen observations and experience of our agents," reported Skero.

Del Rio Sector Border Patrol Agents reported that they seized about 3 kilos of methamphetamine that a motorist was transporting hidden in a car battery on Tuesday, December 8.
