Diaz stated that the number of people who have tested positive for the deadly virus is now at 5,261 with 4,529 recovered.
There are 592 active cases, with 140 pending results.
30,153 people have been tested, and 24,752 have come back negative.
Currently, there are 24 people hospitalized at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers. 8 people are on ventilators.
"We're asking the community to come together and think about how are numbers continue to increase. We're asking you to come together in addressing this public health issue. That means that each one of us has a personal responsibility when it comes to managing these numbers," stated Diaz.
