Maverick County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Roberto De Leon reported that deputies responded to the Port of Entry where a subject identified as Juan Luis Rodriguez Sanchez was detained with the 30 kilo load of Meth after he attempted to introduce the illegal narcotics into the country.
Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention for further processing.
Officials in the region continue seizing loads of this highly addictive narcotic.

The United States Customs and Border Protection seized 30 kilos of Methamphetamine in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 10 at the Eagle Pass Port of Entry.
