Joaquin Mares, a member of Team White Sox here in The Eagle Pass Little League, hit his first home run this week and his mother, my former student, Luisa informed The News Gram that the league is in full force and five teams  are vying for the title.

Public Works Department Ready for New Facility Project Construction

The City of Eagle Pass and its Public Works Department is forging on and developing the designs and plans for a multi-million dollar facility.

The facility was approved a few years ago and is now in the design stages.
