A multi-agency sting took place on Wednesday morning on the southeast corner of Laredo and Roosevelt streets early Wednesday morning as over ten SWAT-equipped officers dressed in camouflage with assault rifles descended on the residence which was surrounded by unmarked law enforcement vehicles along with officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety were seen at approximately 7:30 AM.
According to Michelle Lee, Media Coordinator for the San Antonio FBI, Michael Cardona, 30 years of age, resident of Eagle Pass, Texas was charged on 4/16/2014 with Conspiracy to Possess Cocaine with intent to distribute and Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Xavier Cardona, 35 years of age, resident of Eagle Pass, Texas was charged on 4/16/2014 with Conspiracy to Possess Cocaine with intent to distribute.
Both men were arrested Wednesday, without incident, in Eagle Pass by the FBI, with assistance from Texas Department of Public Safety, US Customs and Border Protection, and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
Detention hearings are scheduled on Monday April 28, 2014 at 9AM before Judge Victor Garcia in Del Rio.

Boxtops for Education is one of the largest fundraising programs for schools in the country. Boxtops can be found in many products sold everywhere. Each Boxtop is worth 10 cents. Schools collect these coupons throughout the school year and cash them in at the end of the year. Schools can then use the money any way that they see most beneficial. Homemade Cakes donates its Boxtops to different schools in the community that participate in this great program every year.
